This unique Berlin space is more than a store—it's a celebration of shared values in sustainability, upcycling, and independent fashion. The co-management approach fosters unity and allows each designer to engage personally with customers, offering a unique retail experience.
One of the charms of Rare Berlin is the personal touch you experience when you visit. Shoppers are welcomed to the store by the designers themselves, who share shifts in the shop. This unique opportunity to meet the creators behind the pieces adds a special layer to the shopping experience, offering deeper insights into the inspiration and craftsmanship that go into each design. It’s not just about purchasing fashion—it’s about connecting with the artists and their stories.

Everyday Pieces
Elise Rolot, a fashion designer from Belgium, founded her upcycling clothing label in Berlin in 2014. She transforms second-hand textiles like duvet covers and curtains into unique garments, prioritizing sustainability and craftsmanship. Elise sources materials from local flea markets and second-hand shops, crafting each item with meticulous care and attention to detail.
