White Label Project and the Indian fashion brand Saheli Women invite you to a workshop exploring the traditional embroidery techniques from Rajasthan  led by Saheli Women’s founder Madhu Vaishnav. 

The Workshop

The workshop starts with a joint meditation and an introduction to the traditional Rajasthani hand embroidery techniques over some iced chai and cardamon lattes generously provided by Codos Coffee. 

Each participant can embroidery their own piece of fabric or clothing or embroider an Indian cotton scarf. All threads and the cotton scarf are provided. 

Embroidery is a culturally rich technique in Rajasthan. Their female artisans are trained in both traditional Indian and Rajasthani embroidery techniques, such as shisha, rabari, zari and sindhi, as well as more contemporary embroidery techniques.

Hand embroidery takes time, care, great attention to detail and love.
