Auf Grundlage dieses Sprichworts erzählt Daniel Kujawa in seinem Kurzfilm eine Geschichte zweier Menschen (gespielt von Kotone Yoshimatsu und Dimitrios Tasidis) und ihrer Auseinandersetzung mit Liebe, Sehnsucht und der nicht enden wollenden Zeit; dem Gefühl der Drei Herbste (gespielt von Haruka Tomatsu). Parallel baut Kujawa eine Kollektion um den Film, die in Teilen als Kostümbild fungiert. Gemeinsam mit den Künstlerinnen Runa Ikeda und Sibylla Stadelmayer gestaltet er die Galerie Mommsen35 in Berlin Charlottenburg nicht nur als einen Showroom, sondern als einen Ort der Begegnung und lädt die Tänzer Kotone Yoshimatsu und Dimitrios Tasidis ihre Interpretation von "Three Autumns in One Day" live zu performen.
