From studio to store: bringing fashion to life. Fashion and Berlin are two things that simply belong together. The capital is celebrated as a fashion centre with the Berlin Fashion Week, where designers present their latest collections. But there's also a lot going on away from the catwalks during this time: with the Studio2Retail initiative, you too can get a taste of Fashion Week. This is when Berlin Stores open their doors and invite you to pop-ups, events and showrooms. This initiative is sponsored by the Fashion Council Germany e.V. together with the Berlin Senate Department for Economics, Energy and Public Enterprises.

We regularly update the community on competitions, open calls, funding opportunities and other relevant news from Berlin’s fashion and creative scene.
This includes the Berlin Fashion Week Concept Competition, which promotes innovative, creative and sustainable concepts. STUDIO2RETAIL has its own category for B2C store and studio events. Selected concepts receive funding to bring their ideas to life during Berlin Fashion Week.
