Berlin stands for innovation, inclusion and sustainability in the fashion landscape like almost no other location. The Senate Department for Economic Affairs, Energy and Public Enterprises / Projekt Zukunft has been promoting Berlin's fashion industry for many years. The aim of the competition is to strengthen the innovation and growth potential of the fashion industry, the stationary retail and local designers in Berlin and Germany. The capital is celebrated as a fashion centre with the Berlin Fashion Week, where designers present their latest collections. But there's also a lot going on away from the catwalks during this time: with the Studio2Retail initiative, you too can get a taste of Fashion Week. This is when Berlin Stores open their doors and invite you to pop-ups, events and showrooms. This initiative is sponsored by the Fashion Council Germany e.V. together with the Berlin Senate Department for Economics, Energy and Public Enterprises. Fashion Council Germany and many of our STUDIO2RETAIL partners linked together to become donation spots for goods and monetary help during the humanitarian crisis in Ukraine.
